FOTO SERVICE is an informative service project dealing with
existing monuments and sculptures placed in the public space
of Copenhagen. During a ten days performance FOTO SERVICE gave
free information and the free service to have ones portrait
taken in front of one of the monuments. In the event RACA uses
the dialogue, with the photography as the link between artist
and receiver, as an investigation in to the social role of monuments.
FOTO SERVICE took part during the urban exhibition MONUMENT,
in Copenhagen 29/5 - 11/7 2004.
